Harry Potter vacations are as popular as ever. Even though the last installment of the Harry Potter movie franchise was released in July of 2011, the series is still considered to be a worldwide phenomenon amongst all ages. This fact has made it so that many Potter fans have made a bucket list of locations based on Harry’s experiences, of which many exist in the southeast of England, near where Harry Potter lived.

• Christ Church, Oxford University – the Great Hall scenes were all shot here and is a truly impressive sight to see
• Piccadilly Circus, London – a must see for fans who want to experience the excitement Harry experienced here
• Alnwick Castle, Northumberland – this is where Harry received his first flying broom lesson, and a place where visitors can get their picture taken sitting on their own flying broom
• Leadenhall Market, London – the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron is located here
• Millennium Bridge, London – this is the bridge that was demolished by the Death Eaters, quite the sight to see all its own
• Reptile House, London Zoo – this is where Harry let the snake go free in the very first Harry Potter movie
• 12 Picket Post Close, Berkshire – Dursley’s house is a real private house, a true must see for all fans
• Exhibition Hall, London – the inside of Gringotts was shot here
• Goathland Station, North Yorkshire – the Hogwarts Express stopped here, also known as a Hogsmeade Station
• Durham Cathedrals Cloisters, County Durham – this is where Hogwarts corridors and courtyard is located, and is one of the more favorite things Harry potter fans want to see when visiting England
• Duke Humphrey’s Library, Oxford University – this is the actual location of the Hogwarts Library, where visitors hope to see at least one book flying out of its place
• Divinity School, Oxford University – where Hogwarts Infirmary scenes were shot
• Claremont Square, Islington – the location of 12 Grimmauld Place, order of the Phoenix’s headquarters
• Warner Brothers Studio Tour, London – this tour offers everything Harry Potter in one magical place
• Balmoral Hotel, Edinburg – J.K. Rowling has a suite named after her in this hotel as she wrote her seventh book of the series here, which is open to public viewing
