Paris is known for its food and its fashion and when nighttime comes it’s also a hopping party town. If you like to go clubbing and bar hopping, there are a variety of venues where you can enjoy some active night life. Even if you aren’t one who likes to turn up the volume when the lights go down, there’s still plenty of nightlife options in Paris for you too.

Some of the more popular party places in France include Le Montana, The Buddha Bar, and the La Locomotive. La Locomotive is located right next door to Moulin Rouge in the Pigalle district, otherwise known as the popular Red Light district. On the avenue des Champs-Élysées, Queen Club is a gay nightclub where you can dance, drink and mingle.

Titty Twister is one of the newest venues where it’s a self-described, ‘New York meets LA, Rock meets Chic and Neon lights clash with black leather jackets.’ You can play pool, relax or dance the night away to alternative or electro tune music.

If you aren’t really a club hopper and prefer theater to happy hours, visit Moulin Rouge. After all, life is a cabaret ol’ chum, especially in Paris, so while you are there check out this troupe of 80 artists and many international acts who perform to music. Caution though — if you are looking for family-friendly nightlife entertainment—the female acrobats are topless in this performance. There are other popular cabaret shows too, such as Lido de Paris, and the Crazy Horse Cabaret.

The famous Crazy Horse, located between the Champs-Elysées and the Eiffel Tower, is a nude review in a one-and-a half-hour show ‘Désirs.’

Sometimes, just taking in a view of the beautiful city is the perfect way to spend a night. Imagine Paris lit up at night and you see it from the top of the Eiffel Tower, an 80-story structure that is one of the most iconic structures in the city of love.

And finally, there’s also Broadway in Paris so make sure you see a musical while you are there. Right now the family-friendly Oliver Twist is playing. It’s an English musical, based upon the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. Also, Saturday Night Fever, The Three Musketeers, Notre Dame de Paris, Timéo, Le Rouge et le Noir, the Opera Rock and other musicals are currently playing in France.
