The King of Rock and Roll’s gyrating hips, twitchy lips and rock and roll music have been entertaining music lovers since he first debuted in the 1950s. Although Elvis passed away at the young age of 42, he has left behind a legacy that fans around the world can visit and enjoy starting with his Tupelo home, where he was born and raised. His father, Vernon built the home and the city of Tupelo bought the home, making it available to the public. Check out the statue of the 13-year-old Elvis, Elvis’ childhood church, and memorial chapel. There’s also an Elvis Presley Museum, where you can enjoy Tupelo artifacts, large photo-murals and graphics and audiovisual presentations that focus on Elvis, his childhood and his first music.

Of course, if you’re a fan of The King’s, you have to tour Graceland, located in Memphis, Tennessee where he lived after he became the legend. Here, you’ll tour Elvis Presley’s home, Graceland Mansion, enjoy delicious Memphis cuisine at their themed restaurants and, if you so desire, stay in luxury at their Graceland resort. You’ll see how opulent and lavishly the king enjoyed his life and you can even take a tour of Elvis’ airplanes. The exhibits include his clothes and shoes that he was known for. The entire time spent at Graceland is an experience that you’ll never forget. Stay at Graceland at the Graceland Guest House and feel like you invited by Elvis personally. You can also tour Elvis’s Automobile Museum where you can see his 1973 Stutz Blackhawk, 1956 purple Cadillac convertible, and the red MG Harley Davidson motorcycle Elvis drove in “Blue Hawaii.”

Elvis was all about the music and Sun Studio recording was where he recorded some of his most popular songs. Tour the studio where other legends like Jerry Lee Lewis also recorded some of his songs as well.
